Yesterday, Jan and I had the privilege to share a meal with Kenzo before he leaves for Boma later this week. Kenzo will be leaving behind Amy, Ike and Yena and will travel to Belgium and then on to Kinshasa, the capital of DR Congo. He will then travel to Boma to be reunited with Lau, Tutu, and Afo.
From my perspective, the Kenzo's have chosen, or been chosen for a challenging life. Just thinking about the split level life between Congo and Canada makes me tired.Yet despite all of the challenges, God is moving.
I asked Kenzo, "Are we making progress - are things better now than one year ago, the last time you left for Congo?". His answer was yes! - but we have lots more to do.
As you think of the Kenzo's, please pray for:
1) Traveling mercies for Kenzo and for his luggage
2) Pray for unity in a physically separated family
3) Pray for energy and a restful Christmas
God Bless,
Wayne
