I was speaking with Kenzo and he was telling me how important our prayer meetings have been for himself and Lau. Despite living under very tough conditions, hearing our voices on the phone and once again realizing that we are supporting them in prayer lifted their spirits. As I pondered this, I realized that prayer connects us with God, but it also connects us with one another. When we listen to one another's concerns and challenges and take those concerns to our heavenly Father - we connect.

For me, even if I am caught up in my own world and challenges, when we get together (virtually) to pray, I am drawn back in. I am connected with my brothers and sisters in the Lord.
