August Update

Written by Wayne Regehr Monday, 31 August 2009 09:03

I had the pleasure of speaking with both Kenzo and Lau on the weekend and here is the summary:

  • Kenzo leaves for Canada on September 2 arriving late on September 3.
    • Pray for peace for Lau, Afo, and Tutu as they are anxious about his departure.
    • Pray for safe travels.
  • FACTEB ended the financial year in the the black - but just. Praise God for his provision.
  • Government accreditation visits continue this year as FACTEB re-establishes itself. The first round went well. Pray for continued success in this important area of academic credibility.
  • One of the Angolan students is seriously ill and doctors are having difficulty diagnosing the cause. He cannot walk or sit currently. Pray for wisdom, healing, and peace.
  • Prof. Rene and Cecil are currently in Europe and are working on fund raising for the new library.
  • The personal home of the Kenzo's is progressing but slowly. Please pray for steady work to be accomplished so they can move from the campus Guest house to their own place.

God Bless,

Wayne
