Developing leaders to impact Africa is what our African Leaders program is focused on. It is especially nice to see that these leaders from DR Congo working in other parts of Africa as well.
From the Alliance World Fellowship- Oct 2008
The Alliance Church in Congo reached a new milestone in its long and eventful history. Two couples are ready to leave for Guinea, West-Africa. The vision for this project took shape in 2006 when the AWF brought representatives from the two countries together for prayer and planning.
It appeared that the religious situation in Congo, with a vast majority of Christians, is exactly opposite of the situation in Guinea, where only a tiny minority knows Christ as Savior. The Congolese Church decided to start a partnership with the Guinean Church in its mission to reach the unreached people groups in the country. The AWF and the Congolese Church both pledged 50% of all expenses.

In a plan to increase the level of sustainability, FACTEB is moving into raising pigs. Although it may sound humorous, it is good to see the school continue to develop and built its capability.
Not only is this good for the school but it models a wonderful approach for students who will one day be leading in towns and villages across Africa. Who knows, maybe FACTEB'S choices today will see more sustainable farmers across Africa tomorrow.
