C2It is exciting that construction of the Married student's residences C1 and C2 is underway at FACTEB. The project will provide two 4-plex units for Married Student's and their families. The hope is that the construction will be complete by the summer 2009 and ready for resident use for the fall. Please pray for wisdom and safety for the construction team in Boma.

In addition to this space, FACTEB is desperately in need of more housing for students. In fact, the housing situation appears to be a constraint in the number of students studying at FACTEB. We continue to look for ways to help with these needs.

C3 Kitchen at FACTEBGod has called workers to prepare for ministry, but a significant constraint is that they cannot prepare for pastoral service due to lack of space to live at the school. While many of us take housing for granted, in Boma, this is not the case.

So, what is happening in the meantime? Some people are choosing not to be at the school - this is very understandable. Some come to the school regardless of housing conditions and live in a garage, or a shed, or an old shop.

The cost of tuition at FACTEB is currently $350 USD for one year of study. Despite this low amount, most rural students cannot pay for schooling. The students coming from larger city churches, can and do pay for tuition with church support. In addition, other charities that once helped with this program have reallocated their giving to other programs. This has left pastoral students with few options.

This academic year, we are planning to provide scholarships to 50 students. Please consider how you can help pastoral students prepare for the harvest and donate.
