Program Focus

To create a vocational training program at FACTEB that will enable students to gain marketable skills.

Program Details

The first initiative under this program is Seamstress Training for 15 women.

• Purchase sewing machines of three different styles: Hand operated; Treadle operated; Electrically operated
• Purchase work tables and required furniture.
• Provide a sewing kit to each of the 15 participants including fabric, scissors and sewing supplies.
• Hire an experienced seamstress to teach the women in both technical skills and the business side of being a seamstress.
• Maintain equipment
