VOCATIONAL TRAINING
Many people languish in poverty around the world based on a lack of training. We support programs that create marketable skills for people struggling with poverty. Historically, we have offered seamstress training, agriculture training, and computer skills training. Currently, we are providing training to police officers in rural Belize, to ensure they have more than basic first aid training for when responding to medical traumas. As access to healthcare is problematic in rural areas, this training will allow for saved lives and livelihoods. We are also exploring options for youth staying at Grandma’s House in Lesotho to ensure they can be self-sufficient when they come of age.
